Sam comes to us most from the Collegedale Church in Chattanooga, TN where he headed up the outreach ministries bringing the community together around healthy lifestyles and leading the church in apologetics education. Sam has a collective 24 years in the ministry, beginning in Durban South Africa, his hometown, to Seattle, WA before moving to the South for the warm weather and southern hospitality.
Sam has been married to his wife Molly for 32 years and they have 2 children.
Oville Fleming, an ordained minister and a native of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands began his ministry in 1989. His pastoral training took place at Caribbean Union College (now the University of the Southern Caribbean) and at Andrews University. He has ministered on the islands of St. Kitts, Montserrat, St. Thomas in the USVI, St. Eustatius and Anguilla. Oville loves working with the youth of the church and in each district where he pastored the youth work flourished. In addition to his pastoral duties at Lakeview he also leads the Pathfinder Club. Oville and his wife Candyss-Ann were married in 1990 and have a son and daughter. Pastor Fleming considers himself a servant of God and a friend to man.
The mission of the Lakeview Seventh-day Adventist Church is to communicate to every person in the City of Powder Springs and beyond the message of God’s Biblical truth in the spirit of Divine Love and in the context of the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12, and as revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord and to unite with His church; and to nurture believers as disciples in preparation for His soon return.
Leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord and to unite with His church
We pursue this mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through:
In harmony with the Biblical teaching of the mission of God’s church, we see the Lakeview Church growing into a congregation of accepting and loving families and individuals who worship in an attractive and God-honoring sanctuary; offering high quality Christian education; developing resources for the on-site Center of Evangelism, where training will be available for those who desire to become dynamic and effective soul-winners for God’s Kingdom.
