Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
— Matthew 19:13
The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teacher and evangelizer. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. In this way the church, home and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child. If you would like to register your child for the upcoming school year, you may contact our Adventurer leaders, Tara Wheatley whea3t@yahoo.com.
Pathfinder clubs are designed to “lead members into a growing, redemptive relationship with God, build its members into responsible, mature individuals, and involve its members in active, selfless service. Our club is sponsored by Seventh-day Adventist Church but any young person who promises to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law is welcome to join regardless of their church affiliation. Pathfindering seeks to provide opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, spirituality, teamwork, and community spirit. If you would like your child to be a part of the Lakeview Club for the 2017-2018 School Year please contact Pastor Oville Fleming oville_fleming@yahoo.com.
Every summer Lakeview holds a Vacation Bible School for our church and community. It’s a time where children get to experience the Bible first hand. If you would like more information about how to get involved or to register your child for our next VBS in 2018 you may contact our Church Office at office@lakeviewadventist.org.
