HISTORY
The Lakeview Adventist Community Food Pantry has been in operation since the fall of 2007. We serve the communities in North west Cobb, Paulding and Douglas counties. Georgia residents need a valid ID and should meet the income guidelines. We have grown from a small pantry to a “Super Pantry” Last year we fed over 21,000 individuals!
We have three different methods of food distribution.

Every other Sundays 2-6 pm – Clients park their cars, register and then select what they need from our tables with the assistance of our volunteers.

Mobile Pantry(drive thru.) mostly Thursdays 1-5 pm. Food supplies is put in their cars as they drive up to the food table.

We take food supplies to two senior residential apartments

Besides distributing food, we also help clients who are mandated to-do community hours to achieve their goals. Primary, high school and college students also come to us to complete their scbool projects. We were delighted to have the students from Chattahoochee Tech.volunteering at our Food Pantry.
